Impersonators of Elvis Presley abound, particularly in Las Vegas, thanks to the King’s meteoric rise to prominence in the ’50s. But nobody—not even Angelica—has managed to fully embody him.
“I will be singing an Elvis song,” Angelica declares as she ascends the stage at Fredriksten Fortress, and the anticipation of the crowd grows. She starts with “Now or Never,” a difficult song that she manages with incredible maturity. With pinpoint accuracy, Angelica faithfully recreates the original. She sounds incredibly talented for someone so young; her voice is remarkably similar to Elvis’s.
Angelica has been performing on a global scale since the age of eight, yet she has always kept her modesty while pursuing her education at the Oslo Waldorf School and the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts. Her early achievements are merited, as they are the result of her dedication and innate abilities. Her voice is still developing, but we can’t wait for her to perform more.
