Before she accepted the Icon Award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, Pink was joined by her friend Kelly Clarkson for a rousing duet of her 2012 hit Just Give Me A Reason.
Clarkson, 41, presented the award to Pink, 44 (born Alecia Beth Moore) during the Monday evening telecast, calling the singer, ‘a once-in-a-lifetime talent who is now and forever an icon.’
Rock legends Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo also paid tribute to Pink by singing her 2001 hit Just Like a Pill, which had Pink and her kids – Willow Sage, 11, and Jameson Moon, 6 – standing and cheering.
After that performance, Clarkson took to the stage to perform Just Give Me A Reason to much applause, performing in a flowing black gown after hitting the red carpet.
While she performed the first verse on stage solo, Pink broke into the song from her seat, joining her friend on stage for one of the most rousing performances of the night.
